No wind & no race WN the 7th, though that did not dampen the Mid-Season Party at Noank Village Boatyard, quite successful I believe. Seth, Megan, Bob & Brian made the trek out to the starting area hoping to race, while I was on the hard getting the grill going, etc. Big excitement of the evening was the Schooner Alabama running aground at the Rock-pile in the entrance to the Mystic River. Seth & Megan went out on a motorboat to watch the unsuccessful attempts to pull her off.
