I towed SeTherin to Backus for my day shift, then on to Spicers in the evening when I got off. Bob, Cindy, DJ and Chrissy met me at the marina and Bob & I launched and set the mast while the girls went off for some shopping in Mystic. Shortly after we started Brian dropped by to help.
We ran into problems with the new headstay & backstay, an effort to increase the hypotenuse of the fore triangle from 26' 10" to 27' 1". The fwd lowers ended up being too short and the new backstay too short also. But everything was up so I can finish up the next couple of days with toggles and such prior to Wednesday's race.
Aferwards, we all met at the Seahorse for eats & drinks.
